Functional Skills Qualifications

At Mixx Lab Students will gain Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English at Level 1 or Level 2, boosting their core skills for further education, employment and everyday life.

Personal Development & Social Development (PSHE)

NCFE Award in Personal & Social Development (Level 1)

This qualification helps learners operate independently and effectively in life, learning and work. It supports the development of key personal and social skills.

English Qualifications

Functional Skills English (NCFE Entry Levels 1, 2, 3)

These qualifications develop practical, transferable skills in English, enabling learners to work confidently and independently in life and work settings.

Functional Skills English (NCFE Levels 1 & 2)

These qualifications prepare learners to read, write, speak, listen, and communicate effectively. They are designed to be applicable in real-world situations, including work and study.

Maths Qualifications

Functional Skills Maths (NCFE Entry Levels 1, 2, 3)

These qualifications help learners develop a solid foundation in mathematics, allowing them to apply mathematical thinking to solve simple problems in familiar situations.

Functional Skills Maths (NCFE Levels 1 & 2)

These qualifications demonstrate both mathematical skills at the appropriate level and the ability to apply mathematical thinking effectively in workplace and real-life scenarios.
